Counselling and Therapeutic Services – Adult and Children and Young People

My Sisters Place provides access to free and confidential trauma informed and trauma specific counselling and therapeutic services to women aged 16 and over and male victims of domestic abuse. The service is provided to those who are currently experiencing or have experienced and/or witnessed domestic abuse as adults as children or both and encompasses all forms of abuse both ongoing and historical.

The service offers an integrated trauma informed therapeutic approach which draws on a range of therapeutic models/interventions to meet the range of complex needs. Therapy is offered from brief to longer term depending on the therapeutic needs of the client.
